“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV
Eight words, and they describe almost every big moment in life: the choice you can't undo, the season you don't understand, the future you can't see yet.
What Paul was going through
Paul wrote this to the church in Corinth after years of beatings, shipwrecks and rejection. Just before this verse, he talks about our bodies wearing out. He knew what it's like when what you see is discouraging.
Walking, not standing still
Paul doesn't say "we wait by faith." He says we walk. Faith isn't sitting still until everything makes sense. It's taking the next step while trusting God with the rest.
Not by sight
Sight says: look at the problem, the odds, the empty bank account. Faith says: look at who God is and what He has promised. Both see the same situation. Only one sees the whole picture.
What it means for you
You don't need a map of the next ten years. You need enough light for the next step. That's usually all God gives, and it's always enough.
Why we made Light in the Dark
Faith often feels like walking in the dark: you can't see far, but you keep going because you know who's leading. This design is for those seasons.
Every design carries a verse.
